Teak oil is made from the nuts of the Tung tree (Vernicia fordii) which is native to the southern part of China, Mayanmar (Burma), and northern Vietnam. Like Linseed Oil, the teak oil is a golden amber color. When applied to hardwoods it does not change the color but rather brings out the natural color and wood texture.
